I was born in Manhattan, KS, raised in Edmond, OK, and other than a brief stint in Salt Lake City, UT (don’t ask) a few years ago, I’ve lived in the D/FW area since 1989 and have been active in theatre the whole time, mainly as a director, but I also act and write plays. I’m a co-founder and the current Artistic Director of Rover Dramawerks www.RoverDramawerks.com and most recently directed "Frame 312" and played Susan in "Woman In Mind" (Column Award nomination for Best Actress) for Rover, directed "Crimes of the Heart" for Frisco Community Theatre, and appeared in "Once Upon a Mattress" as Queen Aggravain (Column Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress) at Greater Lewisville Community Theatre. Some other of my favorite roles include Gwyneth in "Wrens" (Bucket Productions), Jenny in "Everything in the Garden" (Rover), Aquanessa in "20,000 Babes Beneath the Sea" (Pocket Sandwich Theatre), and Belinda/Flavia in "Noises Off" (ICT Mainstage). My favorite role at present is Mommy to 5½ year old Stephen and 3 year old Scott, and I really enjoy being married to my best friend Jason.
When I die, I want it to happen quickly and dramatically - like a meteor hits my house or something, killing all of us instantly. Why all of us, you may ask? I don’t want my family to be without me, just as I don’t want to be without them when they die.
